I'm a reseller & hit the jackpot in a charity shop

A RESELLER has shared one of his best profit-making days, after buying a pair of £15 boots and selling them for £225 within 24 hours.

The man admitted the day was "every reseller's dream", and he knew he'd hit the jackpot when he spotted the £15 boots on the shelf in a local charity shop.

"These are Oakley, tactical field boots," he said.

"I listed them that day and within 24 hours I sold them for £225."

He also showed the proof of his sale on auction site eBay.

"What a day!" he concluded.

"Probably one of my best finds, nice bit of profit," he wrote in the caption.

But responses to the video were mixed in the comments section.

Some people praised him for his eagle-eyed find, with one writing: "Sweeeeeet work!"

"Cracking find," another added.

"I bet the person who bought them and saved money is over the moon!" a third wrote, referencing the fact the boots usually sell for around £300.

But someone else asked: "Do you ever consider giving any of the profit back to charity?"

"Nope, he is a leech," another replied.

To which the reseller responded: "A leech who spends more money in charity shops than you ever will.

"This month I spent £400 so feel free to show me how much you give to charity."

"No leech. An economic delight generating revenue and reinvesting in charity," another defended him.

But not everyone was convinced, with one hitting back: "This is why the prices are going up should only be getting for yourself not to sell on."

"Resellers have ruined charity shops and car boot sales!" another insisted.

As a third wrote: "Robbing charity shops! Brilliant".
